Announcements regarding the next year roster of Telekom Veszprém

Today, in a form of an official press conference, our Club made a few announcements regarding the next seasons.

 

Three of our players, Gasper Marguc, Dejan Manaskov and Petar Nenadic have all committed themselves next to Telekom Veszprém for another two years, which means, that their due contracts have been extended by the board for two more season, until the end of June 2022.

 

 

It has become official as well, the Rodrigo Corrales, the goalkeeper of the Spanish national team and PSG Handball will continue his career in Veszprém. The 202 centimeters tall goalie signed a four year contract with the Hungarian record champion.

 

Rodrigo Corrales was born in Cangas in 24 January, 1991. He was raised in the youth system of Barcelona. He was the professional player of the Catalonian club between 2009 and 2016, however he played on loan at BM Huesca between 2012 and 2014 then at Wisla Plock between 2014 and 2016. He was already owned by the Polish team in the 2016/17 season then he signed to PSG Handball where he spent his last two seasons and where he will play in the upcoming season, too.

 

He won the Spanish championship and cup, two French championships and once the French Cup and Super Cup.  In 2018, he won the European championship with the Spanish national team.

 

We wish many great successes to the players extending and the new signing Rodrigo as well!
