Alilovic: successful calf operation

I am fine, thank you. I had the operation in Thursday night. On Friday I took a walk and since then I have to walk for a few days with these elastic socks. After 10 days or maybe 2 weeks I can start the trainings 100%. I had no problems with the operations, everything was good. It was a laser surgery which closed that vein where I had the thrombosis and everything is fine now. As I said in 10 days maybe 2 weeks I can start trainings normally.

 

 

I think the first 6-7 months were very difficult. There were so many problems and injuries. We lost some games at home, which was difficult for us and also the supporters were not used to it. It was questionable if we are the same team from last year. We were still a good team, of course we did not play as we did last year but we qualified for the Final4 either way. In conclusion I think it was a success. Nobody expected us to be in the Final4.

 

I think it is better to finish the Final4 with a victory than a defeat. It was a difficult tournament and I think we deserved to finish it with a win. Now we know what it is like to be 4th, 3rd and 2nd so next season it is time to be champions and conquer Europe, finally.

 

Vardar entered the Final4 in a good time. They had difficulties in the beginning of the second part of the season but they deserved to win because they play the best handball in Europe right now.

 

 

My favorite game this year was against Montpellier in France because nobody expected us to be in the Final4 but we made it.

 

In the summer I will be in Croatia with my family, preparing for the new season. I think the pre-season will be pretty hard. I must be fit when I come back.

 

Now we have a new beginning, new coach, everything will be new. Everybody can start from zero to play and try to win something that will make the next season much more successful than this one.
