Ljubomir Vranjes: They really got a good attack in 7 against 6 all game long. In the first half, we did not have any saves from our goalkeepers at all which made our situation difficult. In attack, we did not have our fastbreaks. It was not good. We knew what they were about to do and it still went in. I was disappointed at half time and I told my players that in the locker room. In the second half, we did everything to fight back and win but it is not easy. They got 7 rebounds and every chance from that. We have to look at ourselves and we have figure out what we have to do better. I can accept that someone has a bad day but you have to play with heart for the full 60 minutes of the game. I think we did not have heart in the first period and I cannot accept that.
László Nagy: We were very low on defense today. Our opponent found the shooting positions easily. They did not do anything that we were not prepared to, disregarding a few in-flight goals. We were not aggressive enough in defense while every rebound ended up at our opponents even when our goalkeeper could save. We did not have a rhythm today. We did a terrible performance in both attack and defense. The main problem was our defense today.
Aron Kristjansson: First of all congratulations to Veszprém for the great encounter. Of course we are satisfied to win the game. We knew that Veszprém is a very strong team. I think there were two key things in this game. The first is that we played 7 against 6 the whole game and it gave us great chances. The second is that we played with heart and our defense and goalkeeper had a great game and that is the key if you want to win against a strong team like Veszprém.
Magnus Saugstrup: We won the game and it is an important win for us because we needed points for the later stages of the group. I think the match was played very well for us. We played smart in the 7 against 6 situations. Furthermore, we stood our ground well in the defense. Good luck for Veszprém for the rest of the season.
