20 questions, 1 player - Mirko Alilovic

 

This year Telekom Veszprém's roster consist of 20 players. In our new series we are going to ask the same 20 questions to each player. We are moving up by the jersey number, our sixteenth subject was Mirko Alilovic. You can read the chat with him below.

 

 

My favorite food is burek, just like Terza’s.

 

It is called cockta. It is a Slovenian drink. It is similar to coke but you can only buy it in Balkan countries.

 

My favorite ones are blue and red.

 

I have a lot of favorite movies but let’s stay with the Lord of the Ring trilogy and the Hobbit trilogy for now.

 

Probably Mark Wahlberg.

 

I like listening to new house songs but nothing special.

 

It is difficult because there are a lot of them.

 

The last book I read was called The pathology of Evil. It is about the mind of Adolf Hitler. I really liked that one.

 

My favorite animal is the lion because it is the king of all animals. Fierce and strong.

 

I do not have too many. I like to have my own peace at home. When I come to the Arena I always do the same warmup.

 

 

It was when I was at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic games. I think that is the most memorable moment in my career with all the medals I won. I think that to be part of that Olympic family and village is something amazing. To stand in front of 100.000 people in a stadium and to go out and represent your country is something I will never forget.

 

My role model was Andrey Lavrov, a Russian goalkeeper, who was one of the best goalkeepers of his time.

 

Well, probably a bus or a truck driver. My father worked with trucks and I also liked cars so it would have been an obvious decision.

 

I like basketball. I wanted to play basketball when I was young. I had a hoop at home where I practiced a lot.

 

I do not have much free time next to my children and family. When I am alone and have some days free, I like to lay on the couch. That is what I prefer.

 

I loved Barcelona. It is not a big city and they have nice weather. I think London is also amazing.

 

My dream car is a Range Rover Sport.

 

Sharks maybe. I watched many documentaries about them, they are so efficient killers, and you never know when they will attack you.

 

Nothing is impossible!

 

I would like to ride the bike more because now I cannot because of my contract. I also would like to learn Portugeese.
