Last year we asked every player and coach in our 20 questions series and this year, we are going to carry on with that with our newcomers for the new season. Now you can get a bit more familiar with Manuel Strlek.

What is your favorite food?

I would say fish.

What is your favorite drink?

I like coffee.

What is your favorite color?

It is the red now.

What is your favorite movie?

It is the Gladiator.

Who is your favorite actor and/or actress?

My favorite actor is Brad Pitt.

Who is your favorite musician?

My favorite musician is Severina.

What is your favorite song?

I do not have a favorite one.

What is your favorite book?

I have a few. I like Jo Nesbo mostly and his crime novels.

What is your favorite animal?

I like dogs.

What are your habits before a game?

I do not have a habit really. The only one maybe is that I always stay in the locker room before the game.

What is your proudest moment in your career?

Winning the Champions League and winning a medal in the London Olympics.

Who is your role model?

My idol is Drazen Petrovic.

What would you be if you were not a handball player?

I am not sure. I would maybe play some other sports.

Other than handball, which sport do you like the most? Which team and/or player do you support?

I like every sport but I follow football. My favorite team is Manchester United and Internazionale.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to spend my free time with my family, especially with my daughter.

Which is the prettiest city you have ever been to?

It is my hometown, Zagreb.

What is your dream car?

I do not have one. I am not crazy for cars.

What do you fear the most?

To lose someone close to me.

What is your motto?

Just keep moving and look forward for the future. Every day is a new fight.

Are there any skills you wish you had learned?

Maybe to play some instrument. Like a guitar or something.
