20 questions, 1 player - Dejan Manaskov

This year Telekom Veszprém's roster consist of 20 players. In our new series we are going to ask the same 20 questions to each player. We are moving up by the jersey number so our first subject was Dejan Manaskov. You can read the chat with him below.

What is your favorite food?

I like meat dishes. Meat is my favorite kind of food and I love every kind of meat.

What is your favorite drink?

Well, I never really thought about it. I guess it is water.

What is your favorite color?

My favorite color is red and blue. I do not really know why I just like them.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is, well I think it is Man on fire with Denzel Washington.

Who is your favorite actor and/or actress?

I like movies with Denzel Washington. He is my favorite actor.

Who is you favorite musician?

To be honest I do not really listen to music. I do not have a favorite musician I listen to whatever comes on the radio or in the locker room.

What is your favorite song?

Coming from the last question I do not have a favorite song.

What is your favorite book?

I do not really read that much to have a favorite book unfortunately.

What is your favorite animal?

My favorite animals are dogs. They are good to have around in the house. I personally do not have a dog but my brother and my girlfriend does and I like to play around with it.

What are your habits before a game?

I do not have anything special. Only one thing, when I step on the court I always do it with my right foot. Nothing else really.

What is your proudest moment in career?

It was when we finished the European Championship on the 5th place in Serbia. I was very young, only 19, when I got selected to the Macedonian national team. It is still the best result for our selection. I still cannot forget that moment.

Who is your role model?

I do not have a role model in life. In handball my role model is Michael Guigou. I looked up to him when I was young. I liked the style of how he played and he can play in the middle positions and when I was younger I played in the middle too.

What would you be if you were not a handball player?

I do not know. Probably a bus driver. (Laughs)

Other than handball, which sport do you like the most? Which team and/or player do you support?

Other than handball I like basketball. Before handball I used to play basketball but not too much. Half a year only. We always play basketball in the summer with my friends. I like Kobe Bryant a lot. I do not have a favorite team or anything I just like the style of Kobe. Nowadays there are a lot of good players. I like Steph Curry also.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like spending time with my friends. We do not have a lot of free time but we do I like to spend it in the company of my friends.

Which is the prettiest city you have ever been to?

I have seen a lot of pretty cities. I was born in Créteil, close to Paris so I naturally like Paris very much. I would like to live there someday. When I was really young my family was living there. Créteil is a suburb of Paris only 5 kilometers away.

What is your dream car?

Tough question. I do not like cars so much. For me it is not important. I guess my dream car would be a Ferrari probably. I do not really care about cars.

What do you fear the most?

Maybe snakes. I have seen snakes a few times. I would not say that I am afraid of them but they do not look good.

What is your motto?

Always be what you are. Just be normal and do your things.

Are there any skills you wish you had learned?

I think I would like to learn how to sing. I can sing but it is not good.
