Last year we asked every player and coach in our 20 questions series and this year, we are going to carry on with that with our newcomers for the new season. Now comes our head coach David Davis.
What is your favorite food?
Paella.
What is your favorite drink?
I normally drink water, but I like smoothies.
What is your favorite color?
Blue and black.
What is your favorite movie?
I love the Matrix trilogies. Action movies in general.
Who is your favorite actor and/or actress?
Bruce Willis, Denzel Washtington also.
Who is your favorite musician?
Bono. From U2.
What is your favorite song?
One from U2. The original one without Mary J. Blige.
What is your favorite book?
Anything from Eduardo Mendoza. Sin noticias de Gurb is my favorite one from him.
What is your favorite animal?
I like horses.
What are your habits before a game?
I do not have these kind of superstitions. I had them, but I got rid of them on 2003. I saw that these kind of thing never work.
What is your proudest moment in career?
Every time I put work into something and it ends in a good result is a proud moment for me.
Who is your role model?
I saw an interview with Michael Jordan once. He said that he always takes examples from inspiring people on and off the court. It was like ten years since I was this video. I was trying to do this ever since. Everyone who does good not only for himself but for society, I try to take examples from them and to it like this. I have multiple role models.
What would you be if you were not a handball player?
I cannot answer this question. I do not know what I would be. I know that I wish I could be a Formula-1 driver. It is only a dream of course.
Other than handball, which sport do you like the most? Which team and/or player do you support?
I do not watch football. I like Formula-1 and NFL as well. I like every kind of sports. I am keen on track and field also. I do not support one team fanatically.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love photography, taking videos for my website and travelling for pleasure with my family.
Which is the prettiest city you have ever been to?
There is a lot. I love to travel, so I have seen many beautiful cities. Tokyo, Paris, Venice, New York. I like big cities like Moscow or Budapest.
What is your dream car?
Any sport car will do for me.
What do you fear the most?
I am afraid of working a lot and not getting the reward for it. I like to work hard and later reap the result of my hard work.
What is your motto?
I know life is about getting up and working hard. My motto is to do big things. To think big and arrive there.
Are there any skills you wish you had learned?
I would like to write better. Therefore, my calligraphy skills could be better. To learn how to study, like technics of studying.
